I just finished this scarf in silk, yak, and kid mohair as a gift, but I can’t wait to make more! This design is delicate but still gives a little warmth, light but just heavy enough to drape nicely. Ask for one in your favorite color(s)!
Here’s another new piece I just finished, my ‘Fern’ shawl/wrap in hand-painted silk and seacell (a fiber derived from seaweed.) This is a one-of-a-kind item of my own design. The finished shape reminded me of the gently curving tips of new fern shoots, and the colors are right out of the springtime woodlands. It’s luxuriously soft, too! Find it here.
Light as a feather, kitten-soft, and just big enough to tie around your neck or drape easily over a shoulder, this silk and super-kid-mohair is perfect for spring or summer. Find it soon at my Etsy shop.
This silk and wool, hand-knit scarf in my blue ‘Wave’ design is now available on Etsy! I really enjoyed making this piece, and I think I will definitely use this pattern again for more designs in a variety of weights, colors, and fibers. This airy but cozy scarf is long enough to wrap without being too heavy–I think it would make a wonderful gift. Find out more here.
I finished this piece last week, and I’m really excited to have it available before Valentine’s Day. This is my ‘Bird-of-Paradise’ shawl, made in gorgeous hand-dyed silk, mohair, wool, and cotton. It has a beautiful drape, warmly rich colors, and just a touch of a fuzzy haze. This would make a luxurious and special gift that will be treasured for many years!
