“Woodland Exotic” Floral Design

For my table at the One Love Wedding Showcase this past weekend, I went out on a limb and created this woodland-inspired design.  I wanted to do something a little different, and a little fanciful, to show an unusual look that people might not think of.  Featuring lady’s slipper orchids (Paphiopedilum,) moss, ferns, anemones, kangaroo paw, and other texturally interesting flowers, I made these woodsy clusters to fit on a twisted branch naturally festooned with lichens.  I’m happy to say it got some oohs and ahhs — I hope you enjoy it too!
