This scarf is so pretty! And easy, and fun, and light — perfect for a spring birthday gift, or Mother’s Day. I made up this simple pattern to show off the beautiful colors in the Schoppel ‘Edition 3’ superwash merino yarn, with just a little bit of airiness to keep it perfect for the transitional season. Available now at my Etsy.com shop, Christopher Knits.

Here are a few items that I recently finished and have listed at my Etsy shop, ChristopherKnits! I use all natural fibers, and make everything myself, completely by hand. Consider a unique, ethically produced gift for someone special this year!
Here is a new piece I just finished, my ‘Redwood Forest’ scarf in pure soft, squishy Merino wool. I had a great time designing this one. I used two different yarns, both in hand-dyed Merino wool, to evoke the feeling of looking up into the branches of a giant redwood tree.
The natural cocoa color of this undyed baby alpaca is just yummy. I knit this triangular scarf/shawl/kerchief with a touch of open-work for interest, keeping it cozy without being too heavy. Super soft–a great versatile piece for anyone! Available now at my Etsy shop, ChristopherKnits.
