This scarf is so pretty! And easy, and fun, and light — perfect for a spring birthday gift, or Mother’s Day. I made up this simple pattern to show off the beautiful colors in the Schoppel ‘Edition 3’ superwash merino yarn, with just a little bit of airiness to keep it perfect for the transitional season. Available now at my Etsy.com shop, Christopher Knits.

This recent centerpiece design for a dinner party was very fun to do! Full of locally grown spring flowers, I really enjoyed the palette of deep pink, purple, and magenta, with a touch of blue and violet. The flower types here included allium, iris, peony, garden roses, muscari, cerinthe, buddleja, ranunculus, sweet pea, and clematis. Most of these were sourced through the Seattle Wholesale Growers Market.
